I’LL ALWAYS DO IT DIFFERENTLY
Ironically, even though I own Coexiste CrossFit, I’m not a CrossFit coach. I’ve always joked saying I’d probably make a terrible one. I realized long ago that I add the most value at the gym being a student first. It allows me to bring ideas and look at our programming from a members “perspective”. I also shy away from the spotlight so you will never post my picture on our social feeds. It makes me feel a little uncomfortable to post this pic of me: )
I’M SOLUTIONS ORIENTED
My background is really in tech. I was a technology director (not many girls in the field) for a pretty big advertising company for 13 years. I designed digital applications, had a team of 65+ people and solved problems ALL DAY. I have a knack for looking at just about everything and breaking it down into logical steps. I’ve created some cool tools to make teaching you about food easy.
I WANT TO SAVE THE WORLD
They say that nutrition is 90% how you look and feel. I believe it. I see it! The people who come in to the gym every day, put in their hour and then don’t understand why they aren’t lean muscle machines are a majority. I know. I own a gym and I’m saying this… I started eating macros based a couple of years back and it changed my relationship with food forever. I want you, your kids and your neighbours to benefit from what I’ve learned.
I’VE HAD BIG SHOES TO FILL
I have a really small frame and my struggle with food has been maintaining a lean figure while getting stronger. What most people don’t know is that the smaller you are, the more you need to work to burn calories and to build strength. so we actually have to work harder and don’t get as much food: ( It kills me when people say “oh you are lucky you were born thin”. Hell no! It’s science and I just figured it out.
